We cared so much for you that we were pleased to share with you not only the gospel of God but also our own lives, because you had become dear to us. (1 Thessalonians 2:8)
We are inviting you to commit to our Life Together rhythm designed to deepen our fellowship with one another and strengthen our faithful presence in our community. This is not about adding something to our schedule, but rather attaching habits of hospitality to our established rhythms of life. Neither is it about perfect rule following. Instead, think of this like starting a new habit that you want to add into your life.
By completing this form you are committing to join our church family in the following practices:
Pray Daily: Take whatever portion of time you are comfortable with each day to pray for our church. That could be for someone specific, our church as a whole, or perhaps for a group of people like our leaders or our children. The goal is to form the habit of connecting daily with our church family through prayer.
Reach Weekly: Make some kind of contact with someone from church each week outside of a Sunday morning. It could be a text, call, message on social, written card, singing telegram, whatever. Start small and make contact with people you already know well. Then maybe try to reach out to someone new or who you have only spoken with a couple of times. This type of practice helps us all feel a sense of connection throughout the week and encourages us that someone was thinking of us during the week.
Connect Monthly: Make a plan to meet with at least one person every month. If you want, it could be with a few people or perhaps a whole family. This could be as simple as going for a walk together or meeting for coffee. You could also share a meal together in someone’s home or plan a picnic with a group of people. The goal is to increase the times that we are together and connect in genuine relationships outside of Sunday mornings.
